Students with serious emotional and behavioral problems can be successfully included in regular education classes only if substantial changes occur in the way regular education teachers teach. As professionals-teachers, therapists , and administrators at a private, publicly-funded day school for students with serious emotional and behavioral disabilities, we work with students for whom public school teaching has not been successful.
